TethPower TP-P2.5 is a dual-voltage airborne power module developed for converting ordinary 6S or 12S battery UAV platforms to tethered operation. It provides 24V or 48V output options and integrates dedicated BAT IN and BAT OUT interfaces so the original drone battery can remain in the power path as backup support.
At 532g and only 32mm high, TP-P2.5 provides a practical retrofit option for commercial UAV platforms where low profile, battery backup and flexible 24V/48V integration are important.

TethPower reviews the aircraft battery/DC-bus voltage, continuous and peak demand, payload, tether length, cable voltage drop, operating altitude, temperature and ground-power architecture before confirming a matched configuration.

Yes. The module supports 24V and 48V configurations for suitable 6S and 12S platforms. The exact configuration must be selected according to the aircraft battery and power-input specifications.
These interfaces allow the original battery to remain connected to the UAV power path as backup support while tether power supplies the aircraft during normal operation.
The manual lists 1.5kW / 2.5kW power levels. For website selection, TethPower treats this as 1.5kW rated and 2.5kW peak capability, and the final mission load should be checked before use.
Not by default. The product is designed around battery-assisted integration. Battery-free operation should only be considered after platform-specific electrical and failsafe verification.
