The decision
Identify the installed equipment and requested part before ordering. Similar appearance, connector size or a shared power class does not establish that a replacement is suitable.
Start with the installed model
Provide the system and component model names, serial information where available, and the relevant order or documentation reference. Attach clear photographs of the part and its labels. This helps support identify the equipment revision and the scope of the request.
For a mixed installation, list the other equipment connected to the part. A cable belongs to a particular power chain; a nozzle or fitting belongs to a particular water-delivery arrangement. The surrounding equipment is part of the identification process.
Describe the requested outcome
State whether the enquiry concerns a planned spare, a damaged item, a missing accessory or a change to the installation. For a support issue, explain the observed behavior and conditions without trying to diagnose the internal cause from appearance alone.
Use the current manual’s instructions for handling equipment that may be damaged. Ask us what assessment or return process is appropriate. This page helps prepare a parts request; it does not replace model-specific repair or operating instructions.
Keep interfaces explicit
Include connector photographs, the labels on both connected components and any available drawings. For cleaning equipment, add the spray accessory and nozzle references. For tether equipment, add the ground station, airborne module and cable identification.
Ask for the proposed replacement’s part or assembly description to appear in the quotation. Clarify whether it is supplied alone, as an assembly or with related items. Record any installation or inspection work that must be arranged separately.
Plan spares around the actual deployment
Share the expected operating frequency, environment, fleet size and location. Ask which spares and consumables are appropriate for the selected configuration and what information is needed to reorder them. Keep the agreed list with the equipment records.
The product manuals provide the model-specific reference documents. A parts enquiry that includes the installed equipment, photographs and required quantity is easier to resolve and creates a clearer record for future maintenance planning.
