Overview
TP-P8 is an airborne power module for tethered UAVs with 680-800VDC input, 50VDC nominal output (47-50.5VDC range), 8kW rated power, 160A rated and 175A maximum current, and approximately 2.2kg weight. TethPower TP-P8 is an 8kW regulated airborne power module for high-power tethered UAV systems using a 50V-class aircraft bus. It converts 680-800VDC tether input into a controlled 50V output with 160A rated current.
Designed for heavier aircraft and payload architectures, TP-P8 combines 8kW continuous output, 2.2kg airborne weight, forced-air cooling and ≥97% conversion efficiency in a compact 187 × 185 × 70mm enclosure.
