The decision
Begin with the equipment and jobs you already have. Separate the cleaning-water system from aircraft power, then identify the accessories and modules needed for your first proposed setup.
Start with the work, then choose the equipment
For an established cleaning business, adding a drone starts with a particular job: a building facade, a roof or a solar installation with defined access and cleaning requirements. The surface, contamination and working distance determine what the proposed cleaning setup must achieve.
Record the equipment available today, including the aircraft, pressure washer or pump, hose, water supply and transport. Existing equipment may be reusable if its specifications and connections suit the proposed installation. Its presence alone does not establish a complete package.
Build an equipment list around the missing parts
| Equipment | Keep or add? | Selection question |
|---|---|---|
| Aircraft | Existing aircraft or a named platform | Can it carry the installed equipment and suspended lines for the task? |
| Spray accessory | Match the aircraft and cleaning method | What are the mount, nozzle and operating conditions? |
| Pump and hose | Review existing equipment first | Do pressure, flow, length and connections suit the accessory? |
| Airborne power module | Add if the aircraft will use tethered electrical power | What output range and load must it supply? |
| Ground power station | Select with the airborne module and cable | What AC supply is available at the site? |
| Nozzles, interfaces and spares | List by their actual role | What is included, optional or already owned? |
The water and power tether comparison helps distinguish a hose-fed battery aircraft from a cleaning installation with tethered electrical power.
Choose the first configuration around a representative job
For a Matrice 400 installation, start with the M400 cleaning setup guide and the relevant spray accessory. For larger cleaning requirements, review the named FC100 cleaning system and its documented supply scope.
Prepare photographs of the surface, access area and proposed ground-equipment location. Include the intended height, water source and site power. These details support a useful equipment proposal even before every component has been selected.
Compare equipment offers on the same basis
Ask each quotation to identify the supplied aircraft interfaces, spray equipment, pump or hose where included, electrical modules, cable, controls and documentation. Keep customer-supplied items visible. A spray gun quotation, a power-system quotation and a complete cleaning package cover different purchases.
Agree the proposed evaluation on a representative surface. Equipment specifications help define the setup; the cleaning result depends on the surface and the actual operating conditions.
Choose your next step
For a specific accessory, enquire from its product page. For a proposed electrical configuration, choose your ground and airborne modules in Build. If you want to combine existing equipment with unlisted accessories or interfaces, send us the project requirements.
You can start with your aircraft model and the job you want to take on. We will use that information to define which equipment needs further review.
